Sarah Snider is a sonic and visual artist/graphic designer from Rockville, Maryland. She recently finished her studies in Technology in Music and Related Arts (TIMARA) at Oberlin, where she booked experimental music as a part of Modern Music Guild. She grew up glued to the computer, making little websites and graphics like her web designer dad. She discovered the world of computer music and experimental composition at The Walden School's summer Young Musicians Program. Nowadays, she plays live experimental electronic music and DJs, having played alongside a diverse list of artists. She also has a passion for the recording arts and mixing/mastering, especially for those who need the visibility. In 2015, she founded Pretty Records, a record label dedicated to uplifting and releasing music by marginalized voices. She is moving to New York City to continue her art and arts activism pursuits.
